New York and Miami, June 16, 2022 – Emerald Development Managers today announced that Abbe Serphos has been appointed Operating Partner and Head of Communications for the firm.

Most recently Ms. Serphos was an advisor to CEOs and management teams on reputation and awareness, and an independent communications consultant in the finance, tech and media industries. Previously Ms. Serphos was Global Head of Communications for Reuters, the world’s largest multimedia news organization, and spent 10 years at The New York Times Company handling corporate, financial and internal communications. Before joining the Times Company, she served in communications roles of increasing responsibility at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis/University of Miami, Kraft Foods and Barnes & Noble, Inc. and at public relations firms Rubenstein Associates and Vorhaus & Company. Ms. Serphos is a graduate of Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the State University of New York at Albany.
